The time that I felt the most love was actually probably our wedding.

My whole family came together, and it’s really tough for them to fly out.

My father is facing dialysis. It was really hard for him. He can hardly walk, really.

And my sister has three autistic children, and so it was really hard for her to travel for the first time.

And that’s really the time I felt the most loved.

All my friends came to the wedding, and it was really special.

I come from a troubled home—so most loved would probably be Christmas, about 5 years old when my dad first adopted me.

Finally got out of that troubled house.

Finally got into a normal home.

And it was that first Christmas, I actually felt loved.

When I became independent, and not dependent on anyone in my life.

Just feeling empowered as a woman.

Building my own company and getting into the right direction.

The most love I’ve felt is when I was younger. Me and my brother used to not get along—like at all.

It was a summer that my cousin was taking care of us while my mom was on a family trip.

He knew the problems between me and my brother.

So, he sat us down and told us the meaning of being brothers, and how we are supposed to have each others’ back, like no tomorrow.

Ever since then, me and my little brother have been the closest and it hasn’t changed
